Methodology

Release and patch reporting is based on the platform's own notes and on developer statements, read in full rather than from a summary. Hardware revision claims require physical or documentary evidence: a regulatory filing, a retail catalogue entry, a teardown. A model number on its own is reported as a model number, not as a performance claim.

Subscription and storefront terms are quoted from the current published policy, with the date we read it, because those documents are revised without notice.
